Sudoku
means ‘Single Digit Number’ in Japanese.
These single digit numbers are placed in a matrix
of boxes so as to maintain the sequence of not
repeating these numbers in any of the horizontal,
vertical and diagonal lines of the matrix.

The addiction to
this puzzle has spread amazingly all around the
world and people are left feeling that their day
is incomplete without tackling the latest edition
of this simple yet mind-tickling puzzle called
‘Sudoku’. The huge popularity of ‘Sudoku’
all over the world prompted Divesh to create an
absorbing show ‘Fun with Maths-Sudoku’
to help beginners understand and crack the puzzle
with ease.
Shah has compiled
special Sudoku booklets with graded puzzles for
the sudoku enthusiasts. These are available at
the venue of the shows and also through post.
The booklets have graded puzzles from easy to
difficult level to help the participant evaluate
his expertise solving the puzzles. Some of the
methods explained during the show such as ‘Break
and Accelerator’ and the ‘Twin Number
Method’ help the sudoku enthusiasts tackle
the puzzles given in the booklet.
